Photo

I’m not your typical photographer. I have a tendency to look at images from a film makers standpoint. With this in mind I usually tend to try and get shots that either tell a story or appear to have some form of action going on. I also can do fashion styled shoots, but my focus is usually more on the atmosphere, settings, textures and lighting then the subject. I find a way to make the subject look interesting in whatever setting is chosen. My personal favorite settings are old warehouses, abandend houses or any place that has character.

I don’t work with a flash. I use lights. Whether it be a full studio style light setup or a few small lights placed around the subject to give a particular look. This is the kinda of control I prefer.

I have an expandable backdrop set up that I can bring to shoots allowing for green screen work or to simply have a solid color background. This allows me to take nice solid shots; either close up head shots or full body shots and replace the background with interesting textures our anything that suits your fancy.

I charge $150 + travel expenses for a shoot along with 3 images touched up or manipulated via Photoshop. Additional Photoshop work runs $40/hr.

Loving what you do is the ultimate goal in life and when I get a project that I can really bite my teeth into, I feel like I'm going in the right direction.

Art is a vast monster and I've never been able to set my focus on one particular avenue, so I dabble in many different fields. My current favorites are video manipulate with After Effects and manipulation of photographs via Photoshop and After Effects.
